Memorial Day: The Commissary will be closed Monday and Tuesday, May 29-30, 2017. We will resume normal business operations on Wednesday, May 31, 2017.
The Goodfellow AFB Commissary will participate in the annual Healthy Lifestyle Event during June 1-4, 2017. There will be a "Watermelon Eating/Seed Spitting" contest Thursday, June 1, 2017 and a "Burger/Turkey Dog Burn" to cap off the "Go Ruck" ending at the commissary. Entry forms will be issued at least one week prior to the Watermelon Eating/Seed Spitting contest. We urge you to come out and help us commemorate and check out our new Private Label products: "Freedom's Choice" and "Homebase"(starting April and May 2017).

As a Student Trainee (Store Associate), you will actively participate in on-the-job training and progressively challenging assignments that relate to your academic program, career goals, and the needs of the agency.
"Assist customers answering questions such as item price or location and handling bulky/ heavy items.
"Operate an electronic checkout system to record unit price, total customer purchase and make correct change.
"Perform a variety of duties in handling, preparing and maintaining stock levels of grocery and produce items.
"Review stock levels and gather inventory data in order to maintain the Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) system.
"Prepare and maintain a variety of documents to order commissary items, reconcile invoices and submit requisitions.
"Maintain security, safety and sanitation practices and procedures.
"Must be a United States citizen or Permanent Resident.

One academic year of undergraduate education is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in an accredited college or university. Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualification.
