The Commissary now carries a small variety of German wursts and butter. These items are located in Aisle 4 in the Chill Section. If you have any suggestions or comments, please stop by the Admin Office and let us know! The Commissary is here for YOU!

It's Holiday Season and that means it is time to cook and bake your favorite recipes! Your Commissary has holiday displays throughout the store with the much-loved items used this time of year! Check out the holiday German items and look for the great gift items! It's a one-stop shopping experience!

Reusable bags are sold at the Commissary as part of the Defense Commissary Agency's "GO GREEN" initiative. The colorful bags are made of sturdy mesh and strong enough to hold 30 pounds of groceries. The bags are machine washable and can be recycled when no longer usable. Insulated bags for chill or frozen are also available for your shopping trips.

Have you noticed the white recycle bin at the entrance of the store? The Commissary recycles all types of plastic bags so on your next shopping trip, help fill up the bin. We can make the most to conserve, recycle and reuse whenever possible not only for today but for future generations.

The Produce Department makes fruit and vegetable trays for any occasion. These trays make great hostess gifts and are always welcome at parties, luncheons, or watching sports! Call Rick or Thelma at (207)439-4293 or stop by to place an order.

The Scholarships for Military Children opens December 13, 2016. The Program is open to sons and daughters of active duty, reserve/guard, or retired military commissary customers. More information will be forthcoming in the next few weeks.


Don't forget your Commissary Rewards Card and download coupons at to save even more! Just hand your card to the cashier BEFORE your groceries are rung up. Your card will be scanned and your coupons will be automatically deducted off your bill. Commissary Rewards Card users can now download an Android app to access and clip digital coupons. This app joins the previously released iPhone/iPad app.

Easy to Buy, Easy to Give and Always Appreciated! Commissary Gift Cards are now available for purchase in stateside stores or online through Gift Cards are in $25 and $50 denominations. The cards expire five years from the date of purchase; on-line orders incur a handling fee and there is no limit on the number of gift cards that a purchaser can buy.

REMINDER: The Commissary is open on the Tuesdays following a Monday holiday.

Sandwiches, burgers, and salads are available in the Grab 'n Go Section. Look for Sushi on Thursday & Ready-Made Deli Sandwichs on Thursday and Friday. We hope our selection of Sushi and Deli Sandwiches are a welcome treat you will enjoy. We have introduced a few breads and cookies to our Thursday display at the entrance to the Produce Department and in our chill section (Aisle 4), there are a few new German "wurst" products.
