GETTING NEW LOOK!!!

A new look and enhanced shopping experience is happening to the Fort Jackson Commissary thanks to renovation project that commenced January 2016.
This is a big project, made possible by surcharge dollars and we gladly welcome it, said Bernard Ellison, store director. Key changes include our store interior will be upgraded to the most up-to-date commissary décor and our refrigeration and heating and air systems will be replaced with equipment thats much more energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
The project, which will take about 15 months to complete, is expected to be done without affecting store operating hours.
Key features include:
" Complete renovation of Deli Bakery area
" Installation of new refrigeration display cases throughout the store
" DeCAs new décor package, which includes distinctive signs and interior color schemes
" Expanded sales area
Sometimes people ask me, Where does that surcharge money go? I tell them it goes into projects like this that go a long way to make the commissary worth the trip, said Ellison.
