The World We Travel Drawing Contest

This month the Commissary recognizes our Military Children for their resiliency, support and most of all, courage to be strong for their parents who serve in the U.S. military. Throughout the month of April, your Commissary is having a drawing contest titled, “The World We Travel.” Military children in grades Pre-K-12 will have an opportunity to get a prize from Kinder chocolate and a certificate from us. All you need to do is click below on the MOTMC Activity Sheet to download yours, and once done drawing your masterpiece, drop off at your Commissary Customer Service. 1. Eligibility is limited to dependents of authorized commissary patrons in the following grades:

• Pre-K-4th grade
• 5th-8th grade
• 9th-12th grade

One winner will be selected per age group, per store.

Employees and dependents of the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) to include members of their immediate family – i.e., spouse, mother, father, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, children, and grandchildren – or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate in the contest.

2.  Entrants may visit: www.commissaries.com/military-child-month and download the pdf. or visit the Commissary store Commissary Customer Service to obtain an Activity Sheet/Drawing Contest Entries will be accepted at the Commissary Customer Service Office from April 1- 30, 2023.

3.  Entrants for the contest will draw one of the favorite places traveled with their family and submit to Commissary Customer Service Counter by April 30, 2023. Entries must include:

• Last Name, First Name of the artist
• Grade
• Email
• Phone number
• Parents must complete the enclosed photo release authorization form to display in the store if their submission wins.

    (Each store will determine if drawing of the winners will be displayed).

Late entrants or entrants without complete information as noted above will not be accepted.

One winner from each school age group will be selected per Commissary. Each Commissary is responsible for selecting winners and contacting them by phone or email. Winners will receive 5 Kinder Joy Eggs each and a winner’s certificate no later than May 31, 2023. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Limit one entry per child. By entering, you are granting the Defense Commissary Agency and its partner full rights to use all materials and information. All entries become the property of the Defense Commissary Agency and will not be acknowledged or returned.
