Commissaries have approved sources for eggs on the Korean peninsula that are inspected routinely by the U.S. Army Veterinary Services to ensure that they meet all U.S. standards. These farms have tested their eggs and they are negative for the pesticide Fipronil. The test results have been reviewed and approved by the 106th Medical Detachment (Veterinary Service Support), Public Health Command. The system the DOD uses for approved sources for armed forces procurement of food items is robust and highly regarded for its ability to ensure safe products.
Guests may enter the commissary only when accompanied by an authorized patron. To protect the commissary benefit, I.D. cards will be verified upon checkout.
