Throughout the store, we have everything you need to supply your kids with all of their favorites.  There are many quick and easy options to choose from for all of your meals; from breakfast through dinner.  We also have meal suggestions posted in the store if you need an idea for a meal.

Speaking of calling ahead, you can always call ahead for any orders in the deli/bakery.  You can call in an order for sandwiches, salads, sliced meat and/or cheese.

There is no need to wait while your order is prepared if you call ahead and let us know what you want!!

We also have large and small meat/cheese trays.  We do request 24-hour notice for trays.

History Note

September was the seventh month of the original Roman calendar. This is where it got its name which means seventh. Later, when January and February were added to the calendar it became the ninth month.

When the British changed from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar in 1752, they needed to adjust some days to get the seasons aligned with the months. They took 11 days from the month of September jumping directly from September 3rd to the 14th. Now it's as if the days between September 3 and 13 during 1752 never happened in British history.

Did You Know?

Realizing that surgical antiseptics were marketable to just a small group of professionals, the makers of Listerine began to market the product as a floor cleaner; as well as a cure for gonorrhea.  While we won’t necessarily vouch for the latter, in a pinch, just add a capful for each gallon of water and mop away.  Other uses include dandruff elimination, deodorant, a numbing agent for toothache pain and tick removal.

Thought for the Day:

“Wisdom is the reward you get for a lifetime of listening when you would rather have talked.” – Mark Twain
